I grew up outside of Pittsburgh PA and moved to NJ in 2014. I spent many years working in retail until 2020 when I decided to try & start my own custom baking business during the pandemic. 

 

Stuff by SJ launched as a virtual bakeshop making custom baked goods & chocolate treats using social media as the primary conduit to interact with our customers. Because of the overwhelming support of our community, we were able to grow & open our first brick & mortar location in 2022.

 

Stuff by SJ is a woman-owned small business that creates hand-made, unique custom cakes, cupcakes, chocolate treats, gifts baskets, and more that taste as good as they look. Everything is made from scratch & made using the highest quality ingredients. We also offer a high-level experience to include a creative consultation, custom packaging, free delivery, and more. Additional services at the Stuff by SJ shop will include our "Be the Maker" DIY experiences such as party hosting, workshops, camps & much more. Stuff by SJ serves all of Essex County & Northern NJ and is located on Bloomfield Ave in Montclair. We strive to connect with the community providing homemade, artisan baked goods specifically designed for each client.
